“When it comes to medical malpractice cases, finding a qualified attorney can be stressful and confusing. Finding an attorney with lots of experience and a full understanding of the medical issues involved in a medical malpractice case is very important,” says Foley. As an experienced nurse-attorney for over 30 years, and as one of the first nurse-attorneys in Michigan to devote her practice to representing victims of medical malpractice, Lynn is an excellent choice. The recently launched website will help potential clients determine if they have a meritorious medical malpractice claim. Lynn explains, “By simply filling in your name and contact information along with a brief description of why you think you have a claim, I will contact you and speak to you personally about your potential case. If I can tak e the case, I will then work hard to ensure that you are well represented and compensated for your injury.”
Lynn’s career path was unique. She attended nursing school at the nationally recognized School of Nursing at the University of Michigan, graduating in 1980. Lynn worked full time and later part-time at various Detroit area hospitals while attending Wayne State University School of Law from 1980 until 1983. Since graduation, Lynn has specialized in representing the victims of medical malpractice.
During her 33-year career, Lynn has handled hundreds of medical malpractice cases, first while working at a large personal injury law firm located in Southfield, and later as one of the founding partners of a Livonia law firm as head of the firm’s medical malpractice department, overseeing a staff of attorneys, paralegals and administrative assistants all of whom assisted her as the lead litigation counsel on every medical malpractice case. “I’ve personally handled a number of cases with record setting results,” she adds. Currently, Lynn is working as the founder and head of Lynn Foley Law where she will continue to use her knowledge and experience as an RN and attorney to help attain the best possible result for her clients.
